Firsts!

A first for Elizabeth: she drove by herself today--three times! I think she is going to like having her license and a vehicle! Actually, I wasn't as nervous as I thought I'd be when she went off by herself. I think the Lord must be giving me a peace, because I wasn't really that scared.

An Era of Lasts

Today was the last driver's license episode. Elizabeth took her driving/road test and passed! One last dependence on mom gone. :( I am going to miss her, but I'm not going to talk about that. I'll be Scarlett O'Hara and "I'll think about that tomorra." She now has her own checking account. Her own vehicle. Her own apartment (even though she won't move in til August). My baby is growing up!

Christmas in June
